Cloud based unified communications from BT is available from a range of world leading suppliers via BT One Cloud.

One Cloud Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution (HCS)
HCS is the natural evolution of our successful One Cloud Cisco platform, with which we have many years experience and manage over 170,000 users. This gives us a deep experience in managing cloud capabilities.

HCS offers full UC capability - including

  • HD voice for greater clarity on audio calls
  • multiparty HD video to make those virtual meetings even richer
  • IM and presence so you are able to see who’s free and get quick answers to questions – speeding up decision making
  • mobile clients delivered by Cisco Jabber

HCS is available from BT with a no commitment contract.

One Cloud for Microsoft Lync 2013
One Cloud Lync has the same feature set as the on-site Lync Server 2013, which now includes:

  • multiparty HD video to increase effectiveness of conferencing
  • more functional Lync mobile clients to improve the end user experience
  • integration with Skype enables presence visibility and communication outside the organisation

With One Cloud Lync we can combine full enterprise voice with the standard feature set of presence, instant messaging and conferencing in a single, unified platform. It can be deployed as a Cloud or Enterprise solution, or even a hybrid solution where appropriate. We are Premier Support Lync Partners (PSLP), so you can be assured of great service capabilities.

Proactive alarm monitoring - we monitor devices and interfaces for alarms and basic life signs to spot potential problems.

Proactive fault management - we monitor how devices are performing, looking at indicators like central processing unit (CPU) and backplane, infrastructure ports and infrastructure port protocol use and errors.

Critical port monitoring -we monitor nominated individual ports at set intervals.

Patching -BT will manage installation of any patching of the applications as required to meet vendor guidelines
